Yin Yoga with Faye

Faye will be┬áteaching Yin Yoga. The feeling that you will be left with after you have gone through a Yin Yoga session is amazing! Yin Yoga class consists of a series of passive floor poses that we work towards relaxing into. These poses are held between 2-5 minutes and provide a wonderful opening/loosening to the connective tissue. Some of the benefits of Yin Yoga are: – Calming and balancing to the mind and body – Regulates energy in the body – Increases mobility in the body, especially the joints and hips – Lowering of stress levels – Greater stamina – Better lubrication and protection of joints – More flexibility in joints & connective tissue – Deeper Relaxation – A great coping for anxiety and stress – Better ability to sit for meditation Ultimately you will have a better Yang practice. (Yin Classes are held each Sunday at 4pm with Faye)
